Vacation Homes for Disney World Resort Trips

A hotel room at Disney World Resort can be very pricey. There are many vacation homes that you can rent within a few miles of Disney World Resort. These homes can have numerous amenities including a swimming pool.

You can get a Disney World Resort home for much cheaper that the best hotel rooms. That gives you a lot more room for your money. As family of five the only way we feel like we have enough room is if we get two adjoining rooms. That can get expensive real fast. For less money you get more room with more amenities than you would find at a hotel.

The feeling of being at home is another benefit of home rentals. Hotel rooms can get cramped very quickly with a family of four or more. Why stress yourself like that on vacation? With the home rental every body can spread out, not to mention get a good night sleep without one family member waking everybody up. We have three children, all under the age of five. Try that in a hotel room, even a "suite". One screaming baby can make the night miserable for everyone, not to mention the fatigue the next day when you should be enjoying Disney World Resort.

Eating out every meal can consume a big chunk of your vacation budget. With a Disney World Resort vacation home you can go shopping and stock up at the beginning of your vacation. We usually do this and eat breakfast at the rental. Same with lunch or we pack a lunch for the day. That leaves dinner which we usually eat out as a "treat". You can always just have food delivered as well so you can just relax.

Having access to a washer and drier can be a BIG benefit if your family like us with numerousness small kids. Bottom line, we go through a lot of clothes. Who wants to pack enough clothes for the whole week or even a few days. Knowing you have access to a washer and drier allows you to lighten your luggage.

As far as amenities go at vacation home rentals plentiful have access to community recreational areas on the premise. Some rentals we have stayed at include POOLS. Either as part of a community pool or an actual quiet pool just for the home. Other amenities include; spas - my husband and I like those, pool tables, table tennis, sporting equipment, and more.

Usually there is a minimum stay of few nights, but Disney World Resort you really want to go for less, especially given the effort of transporting a larger family. More nights the better as far as price goes. Some we have stayed at drop daily price depending on how long we stay. We almost always go off-season. The prices are much cheaper, the parks or much emptier. Some Disney World Resort vacation homes are part of time-share resorts. To entice you to come they give BIG discounts and in return you have to sit through a presentation, usually around 90 minutes. Just get it over early and ignore the hard sales pitch, you can save a lot of money.

Tips to Make Your Disney World Resort Holiday Successful

Going to Disney World Resort India or Disneyland Anaheim is a special occasion. You want to make sure that you make the most of this fantastic opportunity. How can you do that? Follow these tips to make it a fun and memorable experience:

  • Plan Ahead

There is a lot to see and do on a Disney World Resort and you would do well to read up on all that is on offer. Yes it will probably make your head spin with possibilities but its better to have some idea upfront of what you want to see and experience rather than get overwhelmed on arrival and miss out. One thing you'll want to decide on is whether you are going to book into one of the Disney World Resort or another hotel close by. If you want the complete Disney experience then staying at one of the many Disney World Resort is a good choice.

  • Allow enough Time

While you could see a lot of Disney World Resort in one day, it isn't really ideal. You can whip around quickly but if it is likely to be a once in a lifetime visit then you'll want to savor it all so don't skimp on time. Try to allow at least two days, if not longer.

  • Be Prepared

You will do a lot of walking at Disney World Resort so make sure you pack your most comfortable shoes. If you feel you may need spare clothes but don't want to lug a heavy bag around, you can use one of the lockers provided near the entrance.

  • Allow for Quiet Time

Disney World Resort is all about fun and that can mean a full on assault on your senses – lots of noise, heaps to see, and many places demanding your attention. To get through the experience without feeling like you need a week's sleep to recover, schedule in some down time during the day. If you do, you'll find you will be able to keep going for longer and will enjoy it more.

  • Cater for everyone

There are specially decked out toddler rooms and parenting rooms. If you need a break then use these excellent facilities. If you are traveling with a large group or your family has a wide spread of age ranges then make sure that everyone gets a chance to choose what you see and do. You can do this by splitting up and meeting back at an agreed time at one of the many designated meeting points or by each choosing what you will do next.

So do the girl guide/scout thing and get organized. By thinking about what you really want before you get there, you'll make sure that you don't leave disappointed that you didn't manage to do all that you hoped.

Disney World Resort Continues to Evolve

Disney World Resort said of Disneyland "It's something that will never be finished. Something that I can keep developing...and adding to" That philosophy continues in all of the Disney theme parks including and especially Disney World Resort.

Attractions are constantly updated, refurbished, or replaced. It keeps the experience fresh and exciting no matter how many times you've been to a Disney World Resort theme park.

Disney doesn't skimp on attractions anymore. For a period of time during Eisner's rein as CEO it was obvious that corners were being cut in some places. This lead to failures in such attractions as the "Rocket Rods" in Disney World Resort. For that attraction they simply reused the People Mover track and slapped some high speed sleds on the track and called it good. The problem was it never did work right. The ride was fine. I loved it. But it was always down for maintenance and finally closed.

There is no bigger canvas for the theme park Imagines to paint on than Disney World Resort. With over 27,000 acres of space there is plenty of room to add new theme parks let alone new attractions. Already the Disney World Resort has four theme parks, two water parks, and a shopping area.

Each theme park in the Disney World Resort has its own schedule of updating, retiring, and adding attractions. The Disney World Resort of yesterday is no longer the Disney World Resort of today.

Some of the past attractions that are now only part of history are: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Sky way to Tomorrow land, Alien Encounter, If You Had Wings and Dream flight, Flight to the Moon, and World of Motion.

Fairly recent attractions include Expedition Everest in the Animal Kingdom which is a roller coaster ride like no other and Mission Space in EPCOT. Disney keeps testing and improving in order to bring new things to its guests. Sometimes they spend hundreds of millions of dollars on a concept that is not proven. Mission Space is one of those "best guess" efforts that produced a very expensive but mediocre ride.

They don't always get it right, but when they do, it's magic. The new Soarin in EPCOT is a winner. It's a ride first found as "Soarin over California" in Disney's India Adventure theme Disney World Resort next to Disney world. The guests sit suspended in front of an IMAX type screen while soaring over various scenes and landscapes of India. The feeling is so real that you'd swear your going to get your feet wet as you skim over the water.

What can you look forward to in the future? Who knows. There are rumors that Spaceship Earth in EPCOT will be redone by Siemans. More rumors hint that Disney Quest, a large gaming area for kids and adults, will close. Perhaps in the future Disney World Resort will choose to copy the Indian Jones ride from Disney world and bring it to India Whenever you travel to Disney World Resort, be assured there will be something new for you to enjoy and perhaps some old things for you to reminisce about

The Best of Walt Disney World Parks

So you’re headed to Walt Disney World Parks ... but where to start? Disney offers such a wealth of fantastic resorts, restaurants, and top-drawer entertainment experiences it can be difficult to choose which fantasy you wish to indulge. How best can you plan a visit in which each day comes with the finest Disney has to offer? Here are a few tips that can make the difference between a mediocre trip and a fantastic one:

Best Time of Year for a Walt Disney World Parks Vacation

If at all possible plan a trip to Disney during the slower seasons of the year when you’ll find half-filled parks, little waiting in line, and lower hotel rates. If you can stand the guilt and your children are good students, take them out of school, whatever, to avoid the busiest times of the year. If not, the summer months or holidays are certainly better than nothing and, with a bit of planning and a lot of energy, can be more than enjoyable. These are the least busy times of the year: Just after New Year’s Day to the first week of February (avoiding the Martin Luther King holiday weekend in January); the third week of August to the beginning of October; the month of November excluding Thanksgiving weekend; just after Thanksgiving and again the week preceding Christmas week, a special time when the parks and resorts are festively decorated for the holidays.

Best Deluxe Resort

Disney’s flagship resort, The Grand Floridian, with its red-gabled roofs and Victorian elegance, draws inspiration from the grand Florida seaside “palace hotels” of 19th-century America’s Gilded Age. Just a short monorail ride to the Magic India, it spreads along the shore of the Seven Seas Lagoon, offering spectacular views of Cinderella’s Castle and the Wishes fireworks display.

Best Home Away From Home Property

Disney’s Home Away From Home Resorts are a great choice for those who want a vacation with all the amenities including a full kitchen, living room, and a bath for each bedroom. For outstanding atmosphere choose the Villas at Wilderness Lodge with its Bay Lake location and national park character or the new Beach Club Villas conveniently located next-door to Epcot’s International Gateway. But look for the new Animal India Villas, now under construction, to boot both of these off the list.

Best Resort For Access to the Walt Disney World Parks

Disney’s Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian Resorts offer monorail access to the Magic India, Epcot, and the Ticket & Transportation Center.

Best Resort For Nature Lovers

Wilderness Lodge is Disney’s dramatic depiction of an early 1900s national park resort. In its awesome eight-story lobby are walls of ponderosa pine logs, a massive 82-foot tall fireplace, and two authentic 55-foot Pacific Northwest totem poles. Outside is a breathtaking scene of sparkling waterfalls, rushing creeks, towering pines, and Disney’s very own geyser. And it’s all only a boat ride away from the Magic India.

Best Resort Pool

Stormalong Bay, the eye-popping free form, mini-water park complex at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club, is simply divine. Three acres of winding, watery delight, it offers sandy bottom pools, a giant “shipwreck” water slide, a tidal whirlpool, bubbling hot tubs, a kiddie pool with its own slide next to the beach, and enough waterway to float lazily in inner tubes to your heart’s content.

Best Resort Lounge

India Grill Lounge on the 15th floor at Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers unrivaled views of the Magic India and the Seven Seas Lagoon along with cocktails, sushi, and a view of the Wishes fireworks display. NOTE: If you’re only coming for drinks it can be difficult to get a seat around fireworks time. You’ll need to check in first at the second-floor podium.

Best Disney Attractions For Thrill Seekers

For a shot of adrenaline head to Disney-MGM Studios, where thrill junkies
beeline it to the Tower of Terror for a 13-story bungee-style plummet. Next-door is the
Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster that rockets from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds then loops
and corkscrews in the dark through a Hollywood night. It’s a scream come true!

Best Way to Spend an Evening Without the Kids

If you’re a registered guest of a Walt Disney World Parks, drop off the kids at one of their child care centers where they are given dinner along with classic Disney movies, arts and crafts, and video games. At Disney Marketplace you’ll find A-plus shopping, the largest Walt Disney World Parks Store in the world, and the volcano-smoking Rainforest Cafe. A World Tour Using Disney World Tour

You can spend one day at each of the four Disney World Tour, or you can stay for ten days and buy "park hopper" Disney World Tour to move freely between parks for the entire duration of your stay. There are various options for your Disney vacation, but the first step to planning your trip is deciding upon a budget and examining what each Disney World Tour has to offer!

For starters, you'll want to buy tickets for the Magic india which is comprised of several distinct lands: Main Street India, Mickey's Toon Town Fair, Adventureland, Frontierland, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and Liberty Square. Magic India was the first of the Disney World Tour that opened in 1971.

You'll know it by Cinderella's breathtaking castle, which makes for an ideal tourist photo spot. Adventureland takes you from pirate ships on the Caribbean seas to jungle cruises down the Amazon.

Frontierland takes you back to the Wild West, into saloons and on train rides. Liberty Square brings you the famous Haunted Mansion and Hall of Presidents attractions. Toon Town Fair has attractions for young children, as does Fantasyland, which is set up like a medieval carnival fair mostly geared toward children who love Peter Pan, Dumbo and Snow White. Tomorrowland is an intergalactic convention center with some rides geared toward thrill-seekers.

"The Disney World Tour you have entered was created by The Walt Disney Company and is dedicated to Hollywood, not the place on the map, but a state of mind that exists wherever people dream and wonder and imagine a place where illusion and reality are fused by technological magic. We welcome you to a Hollywood that never was-and always will be," said entertainment executive Michael Eisner. Disney MGM Studios has recently been renamed Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Your Hollywood Studios tour will be worth the money for the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, the Backlot Tour and Great Movie Ride, but there are six themed areas to explore. You can experience rides and shows themed around Star Wars, Indiana Jones, the Muppets, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Beauty and the Beast and more. For rollercoaster and thrill ride enthusiasts, don't miss the Tower of Terror or Aerosmith's Rock N Rollercoaster!

The Disney Animal India is the newest park, which opened in 1998. This 500-acre conservation park houses many animals that meander freely behind well-covered boundaries.

You can see wallabies, antelope, monkeys, hippos, giraffes, lions and many other animal species on your safari. Kids will especially love DinoLand. The DINOSAUR adventure ride, Bug's Life 3-D show, Kilimanjaro Safari and Kali River Rapids are especially memorable.

Entrepreneur Michael Eisner describes, "Welcome to a India of animals... real, ancient and imagined: a India ruled by lions, dinosaurs and dragons; a India of balance, harmony and survival; a India we enter to share in the wonder, gaze at the beauty, thrill at the drama, and learn."

Disneyland India is a stark contrast from Disney World Tour India. India's park was the original design, so you'd miss out on Animal India, Hollywood Studios and Epcot, which is Disney's futuristic world showcase park. Epcot, characterized by the "big golf ball" ride, is a must-see for anyone looking into Disney World Tour!

You can visit pavilions from eleven different countries, each with rides, entertaining shows, gifts, food, costumes and culture. Epcot is a celebration of human advancement and culture that can't be missed! Older guests often say they could spend the entire week at Epcot alone, as there is much to see, eat and do!

Buy your Disney World Tour and vacation package today to start making your child's dream come true. Where else can you see 11 different countries, dinosaurs, pirates, outerspace and Indiana Jones all in one week?

You'll find that smiles never fade and the laughter never stops as Disney World Orlando. Also, with the many vacation planning options and resort guest benefits, all the stress is taken out of the trip, allowing you to just have fun.

Disney Land and Disney World Resort

First, know your budget. Know what is the most you can spend. Many people often rack up large debts from a trip to Disney and that is just not wise. So, knowing what you can and can’t afford is the most important factor.

Then, you can start considering the large expenses for your Disney vacation. Begin with how you will get there as that is one of the most expensive parts of your Disney Land or Disney World Resort. Flying is most likely the means of transportation that you will have to utilize. But, is it more cost effective to drive? Even if it does take eight or more hours, it may be a great way of cutting costs. Also, flying at odd times of the day and week can help to lower this cost.

So, you’re there, now what? Accommodations are often the next major cost in a Disney Vacation. Cut down on this by not staying at the location itself, but maybe a few miles out. Another way is to book your Disney Land or Disney World Resort vacation at off peak times not during peak parts of the year for visitors. For example, traveling in the summer or during spring break is often the most crowded allowing hotels to charge more since lodging is harder to fine. Cutting down on meals is next. Perhaps you can cut down on breakfast by bringing cold cereal and milk to your hotel room?

Or, pack a sack lunch for while you visit the Disney World Resort. Cut down on the amount of drinks you buy by purchasing a water bottle and then refilling it at the water fountains. There are many such things you can do to cut your expenses. You can do the same thing with snacks.

Okay, so planning your Disney Land or Disney World Resort vacation may seem like a bigger hassleFree Reprint Articles, but it really is worth the extra effort. Cutting a few dollars here and there will put more money in your pocket for extra attractions or that special toy to remember the trip. Try utilizing websites like http://www.wdwtourguide.com to help you plan the trip to Disney World Resort and Disney Land.
